Villeneuve Loubet is only about three miles from
Camping du Pylone. It's a beautiful village. You cannot get there from
Villeneuve Loubet train station unless you're feeling very fit and have
a Sat Nav!
Catch the 23 bus from outside the campsite. Runs about
every 45 minutes.

Another village perché like Biot and Cagnes sur Mer. A mile inland but very separate from
the French Riviera. Few tourists and no posh shops. It's a quiet oasis
in the frenzy of the coast.

At one end of this bridge is a beautiful park.
You can hire mountain bikes and cycle through it, bath in, or
picnic by the river.
At the other end is a set of traffic lights at a
T junction that are so French. They are turned off. Nobody has any idea
what's happening, but it works.

By the lights is the PMU (betting shop cum bar)
where the food is
brilliant. This is a picture of the Salad Landaise I had here. Superb and not expensive. About 7 Euros if memory serves.
My shirt is by Lidl. Cost a pound! Good or what?
Hmm...
