Go out of the site, turn right. 100 metres up on the left hand
side is a bus stop. This bus runs to Valbonne about every 45 minutes.
It is the BEST bus ever!
Cost is 1 €. It takes about 45 minutes, goes all round the
houses, often on two wheels!
Chatty customers and superb scenery. We met a lovely Belgium lady
who wanted us to come to her church in Cannes. Lunches after the
service were superb, she promised.
She talked so much she missed her stop. No problem said the driver,
who turned the bus round and took her home. It was only 5 miles
out of the way! Loved every minute.
Warning: This wasn't
running in April 2008. You need to catch bus number 10 from the
main road bus stop. Just in front of the train station. Still a
superb 1€'s worth!
However this one may run later on in the year.

Looking towards the
center of the town with market stalls not quite visible up the street.
A restaurant is on the rigt and a stall that sells underpants and socks
at the bottom of the steps!
By the way... Market day is Friday.

This isn't the normal market. This is a Vide Grenier. (French
for empty loft!) A Car Boot Sale to us!
Loads of rubbish but some of it you just may not be able to live
without and some real bargains.
Go to one. Take a picnic. Sun, food and interesting people...
not forgetting the bus ride.
