Eurostar
or TGV from
Waterloo or Ashford to Lille. (£50 approx return) Very fast
in France - 300 km/hr!
Then overnight sleeper from Lille to Antibes.
From £140 to £240. Cheapest is in couchettes and
best is in T2 compartments. Leave Lille about 21:00 arrive 10:30
Antibes.
Couchettes sleep 6. Who can be anybody. We've
met some smelly feet but more often some great people.
T2 compartments are like hotels on wheels.
Sleeps 2 or 3. They include beds with sheets and pillows, settee, wash
basin and potty!
Evening snack available.Your own attendant,
breakfast included. Expensive (£50 per person per journey)
but plush and a genuine 1930's experience.
Supping a glass of wine, sitting on the settee
in my compartment with a beautiful woman at my side, watching the
French countryside flash past is just about as close to heaven.....
Get off at Antibes (Don't worry, the attendant
will tell you when. It's 10 minutes after Cannes!) then catch the local
train to Biot. (2 kms down the line)
The camp is a 3 minute walk from here.
 Take
your car on the train or buy a car when you get there, it could be
cheaper! About £800 north to south but it's real luxury and
you pass the journey in a T2 (posh) compartment. See above.
