A wonderful, small mountain village. In walking distance (3 km) from the site. Mostly up a very steep hill. Super restaurants. This photo is crap and doesn't do it justice. I'll have a better next year. At least I'm consistent. This photo is rubbish too. It shows Le Piccolo, a cafe in the center of Biot. This is better. Biot is a village perché (french for a perched village. Bet you'd worked that out for yourself!) and you can see why from this photo. They were built on hill tops to be defensible when pirates roamed the mediterranean. An early form of ROTT! Like all Roman Catholic towns the cemetry is Amazing with a capital Amaze! Sorry about the bloke on the right - 'tis me!
